As part of Scottish Interfaith Week, our final workshop in the Writer’s Kitchen pilot series will be exploring Faith and Food – the sacramental character of food, the significance of faith traditions and how they shape culinary heritage.
Chef Kawther Luay and writer Lynnda Wardle will collaborate in this Writer’s Kitchen workshop, exploring the sacramental character of food, the significance of faith traditions and how they shape culinary heritages.
On the menu will be a trio of dishes from the Levant, each marking a particular religious festival. You are invited to share a meal and tell stories of faith and food.
People from all faith and belief traditions are welcome to attend. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary considerations we should know about (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher etc.)
Please register on Eventbrite. There is a small charge to cover the costs of the food provided.
