Reflections on a Journey: Lessons on Peace, anti-racism and Interfaith Work from Ghana

This year the Church of Scotland collaborated with the Alwaleed Centre, Al Makhtoum College and Interfaith Scotland to bring a group of Muslim and Church of Scotland leaders to Ghana. We were hosted by PROCMURA – Programme for Muslim-Christian Relations in Africa who took us on a whirlwind journey from Accra to the slave trading castles on the coast to the far north of the country to meet with communities, schools, gender justice groups and faith chaplains in different contexts.

With a mixture of presentations and reflections on these themes as well as facilitated discussions at tables, a few members of this transformative trip will share what this journey meant to them so we can take part in discussing how these themes have an impact on interfaith relations in Scotland.

This event is taking place in Carnegie Conference Centre, Dunfermline, KY11 8DY organised by Church of Scotland. This event is invite-only.
