Virtual Building Bridges Symposium 2020

Organised by Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education

Location: Online (Zoom)

Dates: Thursday 12th November

Time: 8:55am – 1:00pm

This year’s Building Bridges Symposium on Thursday 12th November.

In conjunction with Scottish Interfaith Week 2020, we are hosting a free half-day virtual event featuring leading lights in Dundee’s arts and culture scene alongside highly regarded academics. With its theme of ‘Connecting’, the Symposium will explore how creative pursuits can build bridges between cultures, both locally and internationally.

Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity for interfaith groups, faith communities, schools, organisations and local communities across the country to celebrate Scotland’s religious diversity by planning events that bring people together to promote dialogue, understanding and co-operation between Scotland’s diverse religious communities and cultures.

We are inviting people of all faiths and none to join us for what promises to be a stimulating and thought-provoking event that will encourage positive interfaith dialogue.

We look forward to welcoming you – virtually – to Al-Maktoum College.
