Ritual to call for climate and environmental leadership at COP26, calling on the wisdom of the Oak, followed by the delivery of our letter to COP26 leaders
Please join us on the first day of COP26, at 1pm at Kelvingrove Park, where we will hold ritual before making our way to the COP26 site to deliver the letter and a sacred gift to world leaders.
Meet at the Fountain, Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow, G12 8LU (entrance via Gray Street).
This ritual is open to all.
Acorns represent a seed prayer and intention that, once planted, will grow into something large, beautiful and strong. The oak, which is a symbol of leadership, is at the heart of druidic practice, while trees in a more general sense have an important role to play in combatting climate change.
