You are warmly invited to join us for Earth Reflections. This is an online event which will be held in the months leading up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, to help us as individuals and communities to prepare for this momentous meeting and remind ourselves of the importance of our planet.

Organised by Glasgow Bahá’í Community, this event is open to all who wish to listen to and share reflections, hopes, poems, prayers and tributes to the planet we call home.

“The earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth” – Chief Seattle
“We cannot segregate the human heart from the environment outside us and say that once one of these is reformed everything will be improved. We are organic with the world. Our inner life moulds the environment and is itself also deeply affected by it. The one acts upon the other and every abiding change in the life of humanity is the result of these mutual reactions.”  – Adapted from the Bahá’í writings
Earth Reflections will take place on the following Wednesdays: 18th August, 22nd September, 20th October and 3rd November at 7:30pm via Zoom.
