Come and join us at this family-friendly event, to explore ways of living and being together, of sharing space in both past and present, learning from people who have experienced migration in their lives.

This event is open to anyone who is over 8 years of age. It is a unique chance to bring your children, family and friends along for a day full of hands-on workshops, theatre, music and other surprises.

This unique event has been organised by New Lanark and the UNESCO Chair in Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts (UNESCO RILA) at the University of Glasgow.

This event is part of series of creative responses to the 14 place-based UNESCO designations in Scotland – an initiative that aims to increase understanding of these places, of their significance in both past and present, through artistic means, place-based learning and discussions with those who live and work on and near those sites.
