You are warmly invited to our local event in celebration of the Scottish Interfaith Week 2020.
This year’s theme is ‘Connecting’. A very appropriate theme for reflection in a time when many usual ways of connecting are limited with many new ways opening up.
The theme of our local gathering is ‘Connecting with the Sacred and with each other’ and we will be connecting online using zoom.
There will be a programme of readings, prayers and music for about 40 minutes, followed by opportunity for connecting with each other and friendly conversation.
Many people in our towns and neighbourhoods and around the world have been experiencing loneliness and isolation throughout the pandemic.
We hope our coming together will be some way of giving us hope and trust to overcome some of these challenges and difficulties by connecting with the Sacred, strengthen our resilience, compassion, kindness towards each other, in our communities and neighbourhoods.
