Location: Online (via Zoom)
Dates: Saturday 14th November
Time: 3pm – 5pm
This is an opportunity to share and reflect on different contemplative practices across different faiths. It is an opportunity to learn what others do and to make connections.
Prayer, meditation, sacred song, mantras, quiet contemplation of scriptures, connecting to what is beyond by going into nature. There are many ways to turn inward, to explore inner stillness, to be open to what nourishes us and experience the Divine.
We will share from our own practices and faiths as well as hearing about others.
The format will be as follows:
- introduction to the topic
- introducing ourselves
- sharing our understanding and personal experience of contemplative practices from our faith / non-faith backgrounds
- we will end with prayer and meditation from the Christian & Buddhist traditions
This event will last between 90 – 120 minutes depending on participant numbers.
