Location: Online (via Zoom)
Date: Monday 9th November 2020
Come along to a free taster session of two of Interfaith Scotland’s popular public training courses on diversity issues: Working with people from diverse religions and beliefs and Interpreting culture.
This session will include elements from Working with people from diverse religions and beliefs which considers: whether we choose our religion; how religion and belief compares to other characteristics of diversity; the core beliefs and cultural practices of six main UK faiths; and how to respond to workplace challenges relating to religion and belief.
We will also briefly explore our course on Interpreting culture. The full course discusses: what culture is and how it affects us; how our cultural background shapes the meaning we make of people’s behaviour; and how to improve our cross-cultural interactions. Join our trainer Jamie Spurway to get a sense of how our courses look and feel.
