Join us to pray for the global leaders and experts gathering for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Türkiye and for the care of our common home.

COP31 will be where the world comes together to agree on the actions to address the climate crisis, such as limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius and helping vulnerable communities adapt to the effects of climate change.

Pope Leo XIV has called for greater political action on the climate crisis, saying there is “no room for indifference or resignation”. In this spirit, we are coming together in faith to pray for the success of these crucial international negotiations, that they may produce real, tangible actions to help both people and planet.

Hosted in partnership by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland’s Office for the Care of Creation, Justice & Peace Scotland, SCIAF, and SCES, this special Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Nolan.

Enjoy refreshments in Eyre Hall following Mass, alongside a live video presentation streamed from COP31 in Türkiye.
