The Rt Hon The Lord Provost, Councillor Jacqueline McLaren, and Glasgow City Council, in partnership with Interfaith Glasgow, are hosting a Civic Reception at Glasgow City Chambers to mark Scottish Interfaith Week 2026 and celebrate Interfaith Glasgow’s tenth anniversary.
The event will bring together leaders, community activists and representatives from across Glasgow’s diverse faith and belief communities to celebrate the richness of our city and the people who help make it such a vibrant place to live.
This reception is an opportunity to strengthen our connections with one another at a critical time and to hear more about Interfaith Glasgow’s work to build trust and understanding across difference.
We are delighted to welcome Glasgow’s Poet Makar, Jim Carruth, who will present a new poem created especially to celebrate Interfaith Glasgow’s tenth anniversary.
