Today marks Day 4 of Scottish Interfaith Week, an annual festival uniting people of all faiths and none across the nation.

Today’s events include a local women’s event in Edinburgh, a Druid Peace Ritual, an online conference tackling loneliness in communities, a food justice dialogue event, a community devotional meeting, and the latest Interfaith Interactions event from Interfaith Scotland.

Your Community (Women’s Event)

This event will provide an opportunity for local women to share their experiences and knowledge about community. We will discuss helping local people and offering support to build bridges of friendship.

Community Devotional Meeting

Meet to pray and share inspirational writings on the theme of community. Please note: This event is not open to public, but if you would like to attend please contact Carrie (cvarjavandi@gmail.com) who can let the hosts of the devotional meeting know.

Druid Peace Ritual

An invitation to join local Druids in an inclusive ritual that honours and remembers those affected by conflict and encourages us to stand together for peace.

Tackling Loneliness in our Communities

This online conference is being held to highlight the issue of loneliness by discussing the Scottish Government Policy on Loneliness; the action that faith communities do and can take to tackle loneliness and to explore proposals for the future.

From Food Poverty to Flourishing Communities: How do we get there?

As part of Interfaith Glasgow’s programme of events for Scottish Interfaith Week, which this year has a community theme, we are building on the work of the Interfaith Food Justice Network to host this dialogue event about food justice, community, and faith.

Interfaith Interactions: Online Dialogue on Community

Interfaith Scotland’s online dialogue event in the Interfaith Interactions series will feature speakers from three different spiritual communities on the Scottish Interfaith Week theme of ‘Community’.
