Interfaith Scotland board member Dr Srihari Vallabhajousula cycled 600km through Kerala to fundraise for Scottish Interfaith Week.
Srihari cycled through the Indian state of Kerala from Monday 16th September to Friday 27th September, 2024, for the fundraiser.
He funded the cycling tour himself and every donated penny will be used to help local communities engage with the festival.
Bringing people together
In light of the recent violent protests in the UK there is a need to bring communities together for dialogue.
Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity to unite communities and celebrate the nation’s religious and cultural diversity.
Most events for Scottish Interfaith Week have little to no funding. Donations will go towards helping local communities host events.
